Photoshop CS2 and using a green screen?

I am going to be taking pictures of a local rock band today and they asked about using a green screen. I know alot about photoshop CS2, but I don't know if there is a way to put backgrounds on a green screen in CS2. If anyone knows if I can and how please help. Thank You.

Yes, you can use Photoshop to replace a green background with another background. However, if you want it to look natural, it takes a lot of work and experience. You need to use masking to do a good job, and there is a lot to learn about masking. I suggest the book "Photoshop Masking %26 Compositing" by Katrin Eismann, although it is a bit pricey. For starters, aside from the book, check out Photoshop's Extract function (see the Help), which may do it for you. The Magic Wand is quick but doesn't do a very good job.

When photographing with a green background, be sure not to have anyone too close to the background, or a green cast will be reflected on them, which will be difficult to deal with.

You should be able to use the Magic Wand tool to select the green and remove it, putting the image you want underneath the band layer.
