first of all, it is better to create text files in Illustrator as opposed to Photoshop, but in PS i think you.
1. rastorize the later
2. free transform
3. make the dimished side smaller, on both points and leave the bigger side alone.
the selection box should have a triangular look.

Rasterize the Type layer and then treat it (in transform mode) as you would any other object. This should work.
