Photoshop Chop?

How do i chop a image such as someones face from one background and add it to another in Adobe Photoshop CS2?

Photoshop Chop?symatec

the proper way to do it is to use masks.

you create a mask and paint/remove the background which leaves only the face on a transparent background then you paste this layer onto the new background picture.

Too hard to detail here... Send me the 2 pics and tell me what you want done..

Use the selection tool to copy the face and then paste it into the other image.

Tutorials on how to use the selection tool are located at http://www.analogx.com/contents/download...
In general you have 2 steps.

First you must select the preferred area in the face of first person. This process is complicated and more advanced way, results more accurate cutting. The best way is using the 鈥淨uick Mask Mode鈥? If you have a face with clean borders (hair is not over the face) you can use the 鈥淓xtract鈥?command. It鈥檚 more difficult than 鈥淨uick Mask Mode鈥?but result is more professional.

Second you can paste the face over the host body.

Important Note 1:

For the best results the border of the chopped face must have feathered border. Hard border which can create with Marquee or Lasso Tools has unreal result.

Important Note 2:

Never resize and alter the chopped face, it can produce very unreal result. Make sure the host body in size, race and most important of all in perspective is similar to the body of the chopped face.
You can use the masking tool, or the lasso tool, or the magnetic lasso tool.
