there is also one called 'vector line brushes 2' by physicalmagic which is almost identical but different angles:

for the trees, just search on the above link with the word 'trees' in 'search these results' box and you'll find alot of them, search 'splatter' and you'll find drippy paint like in the background of the tutorial.

everything on there is free to download, and it's the only site you'll ever need for photoshop brushes - it's also home to the group of talented graphics people i've ever known.
