ok me and my roommate just split the price for photoshop and he put it on a jump drive and gave it to me but when i start i get this message
"memory could not be allocated for the activation process, please close all applications and try again"
can anyone help me fix this promblem?

Are you trying to run it off the jump drive? Because Photoshop only runs properly when it's installed on the hard drive.
