Any help for PhotoShop 7. Is PhotoShop Elements 3.0 better, easier to use?

I want to make simple tags and snags for Myspace. I find it hard to navigate my way through PhotoShop7, and am considering PhotoShop Elements, any suggestions.

Photoshop elements is just a skeleton version of normal photoshop - just the basics - which is probably all you need for what you're doing.

Elements would be good for giving you less choices, but I think the icons and menu wording are the same, so if you already have Photoshop 7, you might just want to go through some quick online tutorials.

Elements is just a stripped down version of Photoshop. It is a bit easier to navigate but you will still have the same general interface as photoshop.
