Where is a good website that can tell me tons of this stuff? I went to a few today, but they weren't good. And srry bout all the questions, but I'm a newbie to photoshop....any other good advice on photoshopping would be greatly appreciated!!!!! :)

What are layers and their purposes? when you load it image say straight from a cam, it will be flat, eg one layer, you can build layers, like laying clear plastic over a "real life' photo and drawing on that. so when you erase etc it doesn't mess up the background

How do you view diff. Layers? there is a box and what looks like a eye and you click that to toggle the layer on and off. on macs you can press alt click and you see just that layer

What is a layer mask? a layer mask is used when you use a filter eg blur, you can use the brush in black to block out the filter so its not there and white to reveal the filter

How do I use the healing tool? alt click to sample a good piece of skin and normal click to paint.

How do I use the scratch thingy? (Sorry, forgot what its called.) i have no idea what you are talking about ha ha
