Photoshop not printing clearly?

I have created a photo collage of small pictures in an 8x10 image size. When looking at the image in photoshop it appears to be crystal clear but when it is printed everything is blurry including the graphics and the text that have been used. Am I doing something wrong? Any suggestions on how to get this to print clear?

My first guess is its your printer. Run the printer alignment feature.

Adjustment the print quality first. if no good try cleaning the printheads. I use a cleaning sheet from Kensington about every 3-4 months. If it still sucks get new oem cartidges. But it still depends on your printer. If you buy a cheap printer you will probably not get the quality you want. Spend a little money or wait until they bring the new models in.
Make sure you're printing on high quality inkjet paper. Multipurpose and laser printer papers were not designed for high resolution printing. You'll notice a lot of color bleeding and blurry images as well.

Next, check the image resolution.

Your monitor will only display graphics at 72-96 dpi, so a low resolution image looks "crystal clear" but the printed output will be blurred.
