How do you make a border around an object? for example i would like just a black dashed border around a white box. i've got the box.. now where are the border options?

rasterize it if it isnt already, and edit %26gt;stroke is the easiest way for me to explain it right now because i'm in a hurry. there is a better, alterable way at the bottom of the layers pallette.
