Photoshop buisness?

I am a photography grad. I was thinking of fixing up photographers images for a living. I have a computer and screen with photoshop cs2.

Can anyone tell me about the fpt system that people send their images through?. Any other advice?

I think you must be referring to a File Protocol Transfer (FPT), which is used to transfer large files of data from one computer to another when files are too large for web servers to handle through emails. As a graphic designer, I would design complete magazines in full color, then FPT my files to an address supplied by my printer, and they would download it for production.
