You may be thinking of the "U3" software system available on new Sandisk and other Flash USB Drives.

U3 lets you carry both software and data on the flash drive. Then you can plug the drive into any computer and execute the software using your data.

But the software must be adapted by its maker to use on U3. Photoshop does not have a U3 version at this time. The only photo editing and management U3 software on the list is

"HP Photosmart Essential U3". This is a free download, so if you get one of the U3 compatible flash drives, you might want to try that.

Check out the Sandisk list of recommended U3 software at

Good Luck

no it can.. its a software that requires a lot of memory to make the program work.
No... it cant be done... coz photoshop installs some stuff on the computer ur using when you install. so even if you install it on the memory stick it wont work unless on the same computer.
No. For one, a memory stick is just that, memory and only memory. It has no CPU, no RAM, nothing to process the information needed to run a program. You could store the Photoshop install file on the memory stick, as long as you have enough space, and use that file to install and run the software on the computer.
Actually there is software you can run on your memory stick, even OSs. Photoshop however doesn't have a version for memory sticks. Sorry.
No, Photoshop is a full running program and needs to be installed and run from the computer only. It takes a lot of memory (and other systems) to run Photoshop.
