Photoshop? Clear pictures?

How do you make images really clear like this?

Does it have to do with photoshop (I have 7.0) or the type of camera used?

I'm going to guess here...it's in the way you take your pictures. You need to have a camera that has some manually options, and a tripod. Take 1 normal picture, one that is at least two exposure levels down, and one that is two exposure levels up. It will be called f-stops on a good manual camera, and exposure on a point-and-shoot. I'm not sure if I'm going to explain this right, but the 3 different exposures will provide more detail in different areas (shadows, midtones, highlights)

Next take the three images and combine them in an HDR program. I played around with this in PhotomatixBasic (it's free), but apparently it can be done in Photoshop CS2 if you have it.

Here is Wikipedia's full explanation:

And an example of my first experiment (which the colours worked, but the images are blurred a bit because the leaves were blowing in the wind!):

Of course, if this bus was actually moving, then it was taken with a high speed camera, and the colours were adjusted in image editing software.
