Photoshop (has anyone ever had this problem)?

ok ive had photoshop cs2 since it came out and just today it started acting slow

and i know its not this comp

-----basic info of the computer

2+GBs of RAM and intel P4 HT Extreme 4.00GHz

What should i do

eeerr i tried re -installing it (Repair)

and no luck

before it opened instanly(6-7Sec's)

now it take for ever and then just stays white

and doesnt do anything

-----everything else

including programs that are way larger than photshop

open ok

why just this

reinstal it till it works if no luck maybe windows messed some files up or dunno...... i only managed to freeze mine like 2 times when i played a bit with the effects and some extremly large image files

I wanna beleive you have an original photoshop license. If you do, uninstall, deactivate your firewall, reinstall, and let the program update itself. If it's not an original, and hangs up again in the process, try AGAIN a different keygen!
save all you files and go to uninstall programs and remove it compltly from your pc. shut down give it a 10 sec or more than reboot and install from new. it might be troublesome but if any windows files needed by the program are missing this will reinstall them.
